MATERIAL HANDLING INDUSTRY OF AMERICA (MHIA)
Is the non-profit organization under which domestic and international
activities are conducted. Active members are manufacturers of
industrial material handling and logistics equipment, systems and
software, or user-specified components for such equipment.
The Monorail Manufacturers Association, Inc. (MMA)
Is an independent incorporated trade association affiliated with the
Material Handling Industry. The membership of MMA is made up of
companies which produce the preponderance of patented and enclosed
track, underhung cranes, and monorail systems.
The Crane Manufacturers Association of America, Inc. (CMAA)
Is an independent trade association affiliated with the United States
Division of Material Handling Industry. The voluntary association of
CMAA members has existed since 1955. Member companies represent
industry leaders in the overhead crane market.
The Hoist Manufacturers Institute
An affiliate of Material Handling Industry, is a trade association of
manufacturers of overhead handling hoists. The products of its member
companies include hand chain hoists, ratchet lever hoists, trolleys,
air chain, air rope hoists, electric chain, and electric wire rope
hoists.
