Standard on the R&M Loadmate Hoist is Electro-zinc plated load chain. A 5 pocket chain sprocket (6-pocket on LM16), heat-treated and machined to a high tolerance is also standard on the R&M Loadmate Hoist. The chain guide used in the R&M Loadmate Hoist ensures precise alignment of chain with load sprocket, reducing wear and prolonging chain life.

The R&M Loadmate Hoist is equipped with a torque-limiting device for overload protection. The friction-type torque limiter is integrated with the R&M Hoist brake (LM1,LM05, LM10) to ensure that the load is always stopped when the control button is released.
